I proudly present to you The Gathering

In this time i have tried some new ways to make the nebula
i like the result

PS and my own new textures of dirty from the front of my house

~4 hours for the big planet
~6 hours for the nebula
~2 hours for starfield and small planets
~1 hour for get the theme for this
~1 hour of tries with positions
~ 30 min for the postwork

UPDATE

WP added , spacecrafts removed and other minor changes

Ah, its been quite some time since I've seen some space art, and even less time since I've seen some that allow critiques. But what can be said about this beautiful piece and its many features. Well, that's what I'm here for.

The planet's detail is great and shows a fine tuned detail of the planet's surface as well as the orbiting planet's around it. Despite the second largest planet's texture looking a bit too similar to the first it still doesn't change the fact that the detail is great. The nebulae surrounding the atmosphere show off a great use of ambient light and generously light up the atmosphere of the planets.

Color usage is also well done in this piece. The blue gently gives you that lightweight feeling that you're floating through space without a care and look upon the wondrous planets and nebulae clouds around you.

"The Gathering" made by our own =thiagochackal is another prime example that space is art is far from gone and will never cease to impress us. As mysterious as the boundless heavens that we gaze upon each night, "The Gathering" is a true beauty to behold.
