Black holes. A mysterious gravitational well created when a large star collapses. Rather than going supernova like many large stars, it instead collapses into a singularity and becomes a black hole. The anomaly creates a pull so powerful that nothing can escape from it; not even light itself. But what if, somewhere in the universe, there was a polar opposite to the black hole. A so-called "White Hole" that could perhaps generate gravity and repel rather than suck in everything around it. White Hole, created by =thiagochackal, shows a possible encounter with such an unusual event.
The brushing effects on the clouds surrounding the gateway look great. You can almost picture the clouds looming lazily over the area, surrounding the anomaly as if it were a gaping mouth in the depths of space. The clouds near the top of the "white hole" appearing as if they are flames, which really adds that much more personality to the image and gives off the impression that the gateway is still developing. Star field placement is good as well, keeping with the overall ambiance of the image without appearing out of place or unnecessary.
With a great sense of depth and using an interesting concept behind it, White Hole really shows the level of creativity anyone can bring to the space art genre. Good work Thia.
